i read your response to someone who said that it was sad that some people have never heard of Gone with the Wind. i love how you said that there are a select few fans that are trying to enlighten others. i just wanted to say i love that answer perfect . i am only 4 years older than you are i got into classic films around your age and have never looked back. old films are as much of american history as George Washington crossing the Delaware i feel way more younger people should know film history


Aw thank you =) Films really are so much apart of twentieth century American culture (or most of western culture, even) - like those new Oscar posters are saying, there’s a little bit of the movies in all of us, and it only makes sense that we understand why classics are called classics. I use the same approach with literature, as well. Start at the beginning (well, sort of, hehe)!
