There is a fuckyeahclarkgable that has been recently updated =) I’m not sure I’d like everything the same as it was in Scarlett’s time, but certainly the return of some gallantry and higher manners would be nice. I love period pieces of all sorts for that reason - reminders of the past (good and bad - we must learn from both, of course). It does seem as if the romance of living has been somewhat extinguished nowadays, partly owing to the lack of strife most of us face - we are lucky, but we grow bored. I suppose the grass is always greener, in another time. Thankfully we have films and novels to help us recapture the magic for a little while!
