Anonymous asked: Was there an actress named Rosemary O'Shea who had auditioned for the role of Scarlet O'Hara?
skoharas asked: Do you have a gif of the beginning where it says "There was a land of cavaliers and cotton fields...." or could you possibly make one? Like a gif set of that whole thing? If you could, it'd be so lovely. I have that entire thing memorized D:

zillypill asked: I saw your comments on "Scarlett", and I wanted to know how you felt about "Rhett Butler's People"? Also, I wanted to let you know that your blog makes me very happy. :) I have loved GWTW since I was young, and it has aged well with me. My first love was, and always will be, Rhett Butler. And I have tried to grow up with the morals of Melly and the practicality of...

fleurdeleighs asked: Hey thanks for your thoughts about Ashley! This movie/book has just been such a big part of my life and sometimes you just need to talk about it and share you know? So the whole "wimp" thing had kind of been bugging me because, personally, I like Ashley. It's like what you said, in the novel there's more to his character that I just really relate to, and sometimes I think that...

rainie-the-ultimate-ginge asked: I read most of Scarlett and really did enjoy it, school got in the way, but I plan to reread/finish it over break. It's a little fanfiction like for my taste but oh so addictive. Even though I do like the way Mitchell ended it, I feel she left readers the opportunity to decide what happened to Scarlett and I like this take on it.

heywhatareyadoing asked: I grew up watching GWTW. My mom watched it all the time when I was a little kid and now that I am older, I love it all the more. It's a movie a person will never get tired of! I watched the marathon on AMC today. I love your blog!!!! It's nice to find someone who loves GWTW and appreciates a classic. I've also read the book many times. I didn't really enjoy the sequel...

thevintagedaydream asked: Same here :) There is SO much in the book that is left out of the movie (obviously for time constraints). That and the fact that Margaret Mitchell was such a gifted story teller. She made the characters seem so real. Not one dimensional like a lot of other authors seem to do. I've read the book, oh gosh, countless times and I always find another layer to the characters. GWTW is my all time...

decussately asked: Hello! I adore your blog, love the book, and woke up to re-watch the movie for the 6th or 7th time on AMC. I was wondering if you had a graphic/gif of one of my favorite bits, that embodies Scarlett's essence perfectly: when she's first in Atlanta, at the booth at the ball, and the shot reveals just her feet her secretly dancing under all her mourning clothes. If you don't, it...
